We have to make choices every day. Even in so simple a decision as deciding to see one movie over another. Will this one be the Oscar winner or the dud. Will this one be the one everyone is talking about tomorrow or will it be forgettable. We use some instinct in making the choice. Sometimes we're right and sometimes we're wrong. But at least we've decided.
Only if you call and find out the job is still available will you be required to make a decision. If it is available, you consider it. If it isn't, you no longer have to think about it. If you take the job - and it doesn't work out, the worst thing that can happen is that you leave satisfied, knowing you did the best job you could and it was simply not appreciated. That happens to us all.
Let's assume the job is available. Now it's between that one, or staying on your own, or whatever other choice you want to put on the list. Write down the top five things you desire to come out of making this decision . They have to be your most selfish "gut" desires, not the ones you think anyone else wants you to use. They only have to be the right desires for YOU. Then determine which choice is most closely able to give you the top five - or the greatest number of the top five desires. If there's a tie - add five more desires. One of the choices has the greatest likelihood of meeting more of your desires than the others. That's the one you will be most satisfied with. Then make the choice and do it. The very, very worst thing that can happen is that you come back to your second choice at some point down the road, probably because you find it is time to modify your top five desires. And, my darling, our top five list often changes - so you will not be alone there.

Just in case you have any dreams tonight, those will be my arms wrapped around your neck. And my body arched against your hips. And that warm, wet place you feel yourself enter - well, that's mine too.
