The first of my birthday gifts arrived today, sooner than expected. What a lovely surprise to share with me one of the first books you ever read.
I have never read L'Amour, but my beloved uncle Ernie was enraptured by them. He must have read every one time and again. As he got older and his sight became too poor to read, my aunt would read them to him and they would both enjoy the stories.
I look forward to reading it and reliving the story with you.
And I have a gift for you. I give you my heart (but if you'd rather play with the package it came in, that's fine too!)
