YES!!

Puerto Rico was wonderful. It was a first class trip all the way.from the car to the airport, to the first class seats on American to the El Conquistador resort in Fajardo run by Hiltons Waldorf Astoria group.

Weekend before last, the room welcomed me into its arms:

Behind that very comfortable bed was a FULL gorgeous bath AND a separate dressing room with chest and huge closet. And behind me as I took the picture was a balcony from which you could see the sea.

Each day we took the funicular down to the marina and a short ferry ride to La Palomina, the resorts private island and beach. Which, along with unlimited sun, sand, sea, and slushy umbrella drinks, also offered Hobie cat sailing and horseback riding (which we did!)

There was a small casino (I waved as I walked by), beautiful and multiple outdoor eating patios, three pools, and three fabulous dress-up restaurants (fortunately, I took JUST the right clothes to look smashing).

And altho I sort of forgot to get the look smashing photos, I did get great shots of the water, orchids and.the wildlife.

And speaking of being welcomed into arms my companion was first class too. Im not crazy enough to let him know about DLand but nonetheless, I send a virtual Thank You his way. I came back toned, tanned and ready to face some family-less (altho not friend-less) holidays.

(ps guess what I found last week? My daughter has a blog. And uploads tons of pictures and videos of the kids. HA HA HA..guess Ill be able to see them anyway. Even if they cant see me)
