Ok, so I came in on one of your banners...read a few entries. Great writing! I'll definitely be adding you to my list of reads! And as for the humidity...I grew up in the midwest and know it all too well. We did however have a window AC downstairs in the kitchen. Did nothing for our bedrooms upstairs...many times we all slept in the living room across from the kitchen. When it worked that is!
